elebrate your furry BFF by being part of Manitoba Marathon’s 7th Annual Fast and Furry Fun Run/Walk !
We are excited to offer this “pawesome” event in-person and virtually!! On April 26th, join us at Assiniboine Park for a 5K run/walk or 10K run with your favorite four-legged friend and you will be rewarded with a medal for you and a matching pet tag medal for your partner! Or, run virtually between April 26th-May 10th and follow the instructions below to submit your results and photos.
This year, we are encouraging all participants to support the K9 Advocacy Manitoba! Be sure to make a generous donation when you register to support the great work they do to support all our furry friends!
Here’s how you can participate:
Running In-Person?
Join us at Assiniboine Park on April 26th for your 5km or 10km walk or run! Pets are welcome but not required!
Running Virtually?
Complete a 5K or 10K walk or run with your favorite four-legged friend any day between April 26th and May 10th , 2026 and you will be rewarded with a medal for you and a matching pet tag medal for your partner!
In Person Package Pickup
Friday, April 24th 3pm-7pm
Location TBD.
OR
Race Day -on site at 8:45am
How do I track my run/walk?
Run or walk your 5K or 10K any day between April 26th and May 10th, 2026.
Share your run in any of the following ways:
- Upload online results Here
- And/or post a photo or a screen grab from your fitness app (Strava, Fitbit, Garmin, Smashrun, etc.) on Instagram or Facebook tagging Manitoba Marathon and using #runWpg
- Not on social media? Email a photo or screen grab to running@manitobamarathon.mb.ca
