SUPPORTING INCLUSION FOR PEOPLE LIVING WITH INTELLECTUAL DISABILITIES
Since 1979, the Manitoba Marathon Foundation has provided funds to help people with intellectual disabilities live more independently.
Today, when you fundraise, it goes into the Manitoba Marathon Grant.
The grant, managed in partnership with United Way Winnipeg, helps people transition into the community—covering some of the costs and supporting them in getting set up for success. We’re here for inclusion, so everyone has the chance to reach for their dreams.
United Way Winnipeg will be accepting applications for the 2026-2027 Manitoba Marathon Grant in March 2027. Funds raised through the Manitoba Marathon will be allocated to organizations that support persons with intellectual disabilities in accessing the resources they need to become more independent in the community.
