The Manitoba Marathon offers a Start Line for everyone!
Race Details
- The Mini & Mighty Mite Fun Runs will take place on the Saturday of race weekend!
- Race Kits must be picked up at the Fit Expo at Max Bell Centre- directly across the street from Princess Auto Field.
- Start time is 12 noon for the Mini Mites (ages 5 & under) and 12:15 pm for the Mighty Mites (ages 5-8).
- Mini Mites will run 100m while Mighty Mites will run 200m. Parents are easily able to stand along the course to watch their wee ones, or welcome them at the finish line!
- Every entrant gets a special #1 runner number and a post-race snack.
- All mini and mighty mite participants will receive a medal!
- Registration ($10.00) is available through our online registration button as well as race morning at the Fit Expo.
- NEW for 2026, our friends at Marathon Photos will be taking photos of our Mini and Mighty Mites! Photos will be available on Monday after the event. For privacy reasons, kids photos will only be searchable by bib number. (not by name)
For the Mini & Mighty Mites and their families (and all those cameras recording special moments) it’s a new memory to be cherished.
Join us in the Princess Auto Family Fun Zone after your Mini or Mighty Mites run! Located in the tailgate area, there will be inflatables, music and post run snacks for the kids!
