The Manitoba Marathon has made great strides to increase safety, reduce the traffic congestion and get our participants and spectators to the start line on time.

On Site Parking

Limited on site parking will be available in U-lot only. Parking passes are available for $20 online purchase with your race registration, at anytime by clicking here.

If you purchase one of these parking passes you must adhere to the parking plan as identified on the pass, map and information provided via email. Vehicle access to the race site is extremely limited on race morning.

You must  have your pass with you. No pass, No parking. This is a great option for many, bring your families or carpool with fellow runners.

Manitoba Hydro Energy for Life Shuttle

We are excited to announce the return of our shuttle service on race day. Shuttle service begins at 5:30am on race day.

Shuttles will operate from the following locations in close proximity to the University Campus:

Manitoba Hydro Lot (Chevrier)

Clarence Station (Winnipeg Rapid Transit) – ACCESSIBLE

Ralph Cantafio Soccer Complex (Waverley St.)

Seel Station (Winnipeg Rapid Transit) – ACCESSIBLE

Individual wristbands can be purchased during the registration process, or by visiting the online store after you are registered. All wristbands are $10 per rider.

Wristbands will be specific to the shuttle location selected. While we can accommodate up to 1000 shuttle riders from each location,  each lot has a finite number of parking spaces. There are two options for purchase; wristbands that include a parking pass, as well as wristbands that are for riders only. Please plan to carpool to the shuttle locations and make your selections accordingly so that we can transport as many participants as possible.

Additional wristbands will be available for purchase at the Fit Expo based on availability.

Wristbands are required to ride the shuttle on race day and will not be available for purchase at the shuttle locations.

All shuttles will drop off and pick up at the Stadium Station and enter IG Field through gate 3 on race day.

Bike valet

A bike check system is offered and staffed by volunteers on race day on the east side of Princess Auto Stadium.

We encourage bicycles and have ample space for those taking active transport to leave their bikes with our secure bike valet service located immediately beside the tailgate area.

Pedestrian Access

Participants accessing the race site on foot are welcome to enter on the sidewalk via University Crescent or Chancellor Matheson. Pedestrian access at Chancellor Matheson will be restricted to the NORTH sidewalk only. Please follow the signs and the instruction of security personnel.

There is no pedestrian drop-off on campus. All participants must be dropped off at an offsite location and walk in.
